PAGE can be used after the EXPAND command, which displays index entries at your terminal. To display the next 50 items in the display, enter PAGE or repeat the command EXPAND with no search term following. PAGE with EXPAND The response to an EXPAND command is a 50-line display of index terms. When the E or R number reaches 50 (i.e., E50 or R50), the next PAGE command continues the index display, but renumbers the entries starting over with 1. Previous entries are no longer accessible once the renumbering begins. DialogClassic: The result of an EXPAND command is a list — "page" — of 12 index terms displays. To see 12 more terms, you can enter Page (abbreviated P). Page– (Page minus) allows you to move backward in the display. |
