Using the Alias Button in DialogLink 4.0

The DialogLink 4.0 Alias button lets you enter search strategies and save them under aliases, making the retrieval of your strategy much easier.

1 From the Configuration drop-down menu on the toolbar, choose Settings. View Figure 1

2 Then Edit Settings. View Figure 2

3 Click the Preferences button. View Figure 3

4 Click the Alias button to set the alias. View Figure 4

5 For example, apply the alias "mysearch" to the following search:
s (antifoul? or hydrophob?)

6 Click OK. Then click Current or Default to activate the alias you've created. View Figure 6

7 Now you can enter mysearch in the Type-Ahead buffer, hit <ENTER>... View Figure 7
