Dialog Expands SciTech Collection with AeroBase (File 104)

AeroBase (File 104) is a new resource on Dialog for scientific and technical research. It provides references, abstracts, and controlled-vocabulary indexing of key scientific and technical documents. Coverage includes journal articles, preprints, conference papers, books, theses and unpublished report literature, covering aerospace research and development.

This database supports basic and applied research in aeronautics, astronautics, and space sciences, as well as technology development and applications in complementary and supporting fields such as chemistry, geosciences, physics, communications, and electronics. Information on topics, such as Aircraft Design and Instrumentation, Propellants and Fuels, Lasers and Masers, Structural Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer and much more is included in AeroBase.

Updated monthly, AeroBase currently goes back to 1999, with plans to extend the time period covered. AeroBase is the first of several developments Dialog has under way to increase its coverage of key areas of scientific and technical research.
