Highlights of the year prove this point. Dialog has enhanced several products: new channels for energy, patents, trademarks and engineering on DialogPRO for small businesses, additional content and functionality for Dialog Company Profiles and a new database—World News Connection, a news service focused on non-U.S. news. And, Dialog Portals enables companies to integrate their information resources. Moreover, content has increased: additional sources for Dialog Profound, including 20+ new information providers in the areas of information technology, pharmaceuticals and more; the launch of the Domain Names database (File 225) bringing a whole new area of research about the Internet to Dialog; the addition of pre-grant patent applications to patent files, new titles to Dialog Interactive Alerts and the availability of CAS® abstracts in DialogWeb—Guided Search. In addition, Quantum has named InfoStars and provided scholarships to information professionals in all regions of the world and Web-based training, new training materials and Knowledge Center expertise worldwide continue to provide quality support to our customers. These are just a few of the highlights during this year. In addition to the 2003 achievements, Dialog plans many innovations for 2004.
