Martindale June Update

Martindale: The Complete Drug Reference (MART) on Dialog DataStar was updated in June with the following changes and additions to the content:

• Revised chapters and sections for Antibacterials (Quinolones), Antidepressants, Cardiovascular Drugs (Thrombolytics) and Muscle Relaxants;
  
  
• Partial updates of monographs for Asthma, Pyridostigmine Bromide, Repaglinide and Rosiglitazone Maleate;
  
  
• Addition of ten new drug monographs, for example, Alefacept and Paroxetine;
  
  
• Nomenclature information and brief descriptions of chemical entities deleted from the previous three hardcopy editions restored to the electronic Martindale. This will help with the identification of substances.

The electronic version of Martindale on Dialog DataStar is updated quarterly. The next update is expected in September 2003.
