Is This Journal on Dialog DataStar?

If you need a list of key journals from Dialog DataStar, here's a simple way to compile a concise list in Adobe® Acrobat® PDF format.

The following was put together for a biotech company that wanted titles with "nature" or "reproduction" in the title.

• Type JOUR in the Enter Database Labels field.
  
  
• Enter keywords you expect to find in the journal title. In this case: reproduct$4 or nature.
  
  
• Choose "Journal name" from the dropdown list and click the button.
  
  
• Click the "Select All" checkbox, choose the custom output and click . DataStar will ask you which fields you would like in your output. Choose Journal name and click .
  
  
• Choose the "Select All" checkbox and then save as a .pdf document.

You now have 12 pages of relevant reproduction journal titles.
