Customized INSPEC® Content

Dialog now offers the Information Technology and Communications (ITC) subset of the INSPEC database (File 2/INZZ) to users of Dialog and Dialog DataStar services. In addition, customized INSPEC subsets are available.

The Information Technology and Communications subset comprises more than 1.4 million records dating back to 1969, and is updated with more than 90,000 new records per year. Topics in this subset include information and communication theory, telecommunications, ICT training, education and management, multimedia, computer hardware, storage and networking, communications software, user interface techniques, database and file organization software, and information technology applications in areas such as business, administration and manufacturing.

Customized Subsets

Customers can now subscribe to customized discrete subsets of content from the INSPEC database. Using the extensive capabilities of Dialog Custom Solutions, customized subsets can be created for virtually any industry associated with INSPEC material and funneled directly to the searchers who need them. This new service allows users to focus their searching on materials covering only relevant, specific industries and topics.

The INSPEC database is a leading English-language bibliographic information resource providing access to the world's scientific and technical literature in physics, electrical engineering, electronics, communications, control engineering, computers and computing, and information technology.

For pricing or more information on INSPEC subsets, contact your Dialog sales representative.
