Interactive Alerts: DialogWeb Table of Contents Service

Being fully informed requires looking for information in several ways. That's why, no matter how searching is done, industry publications are a "must." Often information is found in such journals serendipitously, while browsing through the Tables of Contents and scanning articles with interesting titles.

Interactive Alerts is a Table of Contents (TOC) service available exclusively through DialogWeb. Through Interactive Alerts, you can scan individual article titles and word counts, allowing you to browse new information and differentiate between short sectional coverage and substantial articles. This makes browsing and information discovery easier. (See Figure 1)

More than 80 journal titles are available covering diverse areas, including the pharmaceutical industry, engineering, banking, and general business. Interactive Alerts are sent by e-mail as new content is added to the database. Depending on the update frequency of the title, Interactive Alerts can be sent daily, weekly, bimonthly, or monthly. Obtaining an article is as easy as replying to the e-mail and placing an "X" next to the titles of interest.

Available titles include: SCRIP World Pharmaceutical News, Inpharma, BioVenture, View, Information Week, Mobile Communications Report, Jane's Defense Weekly, The Economist, Business Week, Mergers and Acquisitions Reports, and more.

How to Subscribe

• In DialogWeb Command Search, click the button, then the link under the Interactive Subscription Alerts header. Select from the drop-down list, and enter the e-mail address to which the Interactive Alert should be sent.
