Support : Publications : Chronolog Archives : July 2002

From the Editor

The July-August issue highlights some of the features and content you have been requesting. "Enhanced Alerts" is now a reality. Follow the step-by-step process showing you how to set up Alerts in databases you want at the time you need. An example of a custom Alert, along with other story continuations can be viewed in the online version of the July-August Chronolog at http://support.dialog.com/publications/chronolog/200207/1020729.shtml.

To meet users' needs, all Dialog services have continued to increase their content offerings or enhanced searchability. See articles about new German content on DataStar, additions to Profound ResearchLine, and new and reloaded databases on Dialog. Of course, to make searching more targeted to customer needs, read about new file divisions in the American Medical Association Journals database and new titles from Deutscher Fachverlag on DataStar, each in separate databases.

To add to your search techniques, don't miss Tips and Techniques. The article illustrates how to use the new Dialog SourceOne document delivery ordering capability. You can also pick up additional tips throughout the Chronolog or by attending one of the Dialog training classes listed.
