American Medical Association Journals (File 442) Also Available as Individual Files

American Medical Association Journals (File 442) has always been a valued source of fulltext articles covering a number of major medical disciplines. Dialog is pleased to announce that each journal included in this file is now also available individually in separate Dialog files on a subscription basis.

The new files are:

• Archives of Otolaryngology (File 798)
• Archives of Surgery (File 800)

By splitting the AMA journals into unique files, customers can pay for unlimited access to only those journals of direct interest to them. Subscription pricing enables organizations to better manage and control information costs by making them more predictable. In addition, these files retain the powerful search capabilities and related features offered by Dialog products.

Subscriptions are sold on an annual basis with pricing determined by the specific journals desired and the number of concurrent users. Please contact your sales representative for current pricing.

Content and Coverage. All original articles included in the databases are fulltext. The databases also include letters to the editor, editorials, book reviews, corrections, medical news and perspectives, columns, special features, and occasional sections. These databases update weekly.

Search Features. These files are designed to be compatible with other Dialog files. They have the same fields and features as Dialog File 442. Use AU= to search for articles published by a known author: S AU=HURT, RICHARD?; use /TI to search for an article if a title is known: S ABDOMINAL(W)PAIN/TI; use /TX to search for words in the text: S BRAIN(W)ACTIVITY/TX; use Publication Year to limit the search to the most recent articles: S S1/1999:2002.
