Viewing Alerts and Delivers with DIST

The Distribution Database enables you to manage all of your Alerts and Delivers (Prints). Every Alert or Deliver regardless of its destination or search result is immediately visible to you after execution and will be accessible in the Distribution Database for one month. To access the Distribution database, enter DIST, the database label at the database prompt or ..C DIST to switch from one database to DIST. Once logged on, you will be informed about the current status of your Distribution Database.

The Primary Menu of the Distribution Database contains basic details of all the Alerts and Delivers (Prints) that you have created.

To check if any documents were sent, enter DETAILS and the set number.

The Details Menu shows you the Cluster name and the date the Alert was sent.

To view the titles of the documents that were sent, enter the command TITLES and a set number. A list of titles will be displayed.
