Content Briefs: Changes to Files Produced by FDC

Changes were made to FDC Reports, NDA Pipeline: New Drugs, and Health News Daily on Dialog and DataStar as of March 1, 2002.

• FDC Reports (187/FDCR) - The embargo on the information contained in FDC Reports was changed from 1 week to 3 weeks. See HELP RATES 187 for new rate information.



• File 957, FDC Reports - Current, the subscriber file for File 187 and File 989, NDA Pipeline: New Drugs, the subscriber file for File 189, were removed from Dialog. Please use the public Files 187 and 189 in their places.



• Health News Daily (File 43/HNDO) - These files will only be available to customers with FDC institutional/site subscriptions. Customers with existing subscriptions or those interested in purchasing one should contact FDC directly to gain access to this file on Dialog or DataStar. Customers not interested in a subscription can still access similar sources, such as PHIND (Files 129,130 /PHIN,PHIC), Prous Science Daily Essentials (Files 458,459/PRES,PREC), NewsRx Healthcare Newsletters (File 135/RXNS), Diogenes FDA Regulatory Updates (File 158/DIOG), IMSworld R&D Focus (File 445), and Pharmaceutical News Index (File 42).
