Local Language Interfaces for Chinese and French Dialog@Site Customers

Dialog@Site, the web interface to the OnDisc databases, now offers Chinese and French customers translated interfaces for their users. The recent release of Dialog@Site V5.1 is fully customizable which has enabled Dialog to launch two key local language interfaces for their customers in France and China. These are the first of the planned local language interfaces that will be available during 2002. Dialog will produce the Dialog@Site interface in other priority languages including German, Spanish, and Portuguese.

With Dialog@Site customers are now able to search their Ondisc databases using a Web browser either via a local server (i.e., a server in or near their own country), which eliminates the chances of International bandwidth problems, or on their own intranet. Users will see search menus, buttons, and all support-related information in their own language. The Dialog@Site software also provides a direct link to the full-text articles of the e-journals a particular user subscribes to.
