NEW on DataStarWeb™: Images in PRDR—Prous Science Drug Data Report

Over 123,000 images of drug structures can now be found in PRDR on DataStarWeb™.

Prous Science Drug Data Report tracks the progress of over 70,000 bioactive compounds from the patent stage through to marketing. PRDR from Prous Science Publishers links chemical and pharmacological information for a compound, including the chemical name, with patent and biomedical literature references. About 10,000 new compounds are added each year. The full information for one drug is maintained in one document. Images will enhance the information already provided: chemical name, generic name, molecular formula, CAS® registry number, drug classification, development phase and ownership and licensee. Patent information includes patent family, priorities, inventors, and applicant.

Images can only be displayed in DataStarWeb and are included in the ALL print format. DataStar Classic searchers should use the LONG format instead of ALL. Netscape 4.0 (or above) is the optimal browser for image viewing on DataStar, but the structures may also be viewed via Internet Explorer 4.0 (or above). The images can be saved in HTML format and also printed. For step by step instructions on saving and printing images, simply click on the Help button on DataStarWeb. For a description of PRDR, consult the Datasheet at http://library.dialog.com/datasheets/. Prous Science Drug Data Report is available on Dialog as File 452.
