MEDLINE^® Update

At the time of writing, the first update for MEDLINE (File 155/154/MEDL) had still not been delivered to vendors. The National Library of Medicine (NLM) has advised Dialog that the first update should be available soon.

The reload of MEDLINE (2001 version) is in progress. For further information watch for banner messages and future MEDLINE updates in the Chronolog.

We would also like to remind Dialog and DataStar customers that the specialty files AIDSLINE^® (File 157/ACQS), HealthSTAR (File 151/HLPA), TOXLINE^® (File 156/TOXL) and BIOETHICSLINE (ETHI) are no longer updated but will remain available for archival searching until June 1, 2001. All Alerts held on the specialty files have now been transferred into MEDLINE, and customers are advised to check the Alerts output over the next few weeks to ensure that they provide the expected results.
