Using Dialog Commands (cont'd)
I will use several basic commands in the Command Search option. The first one is the BEGIN command to choose the database I want to begin searching. Take a look at an example of the BEGIN command below.
| Command | Example | When to Use It |
|---|---|---|
| BEGIN B |
begin 226 b 226 b 226,246 b ustmks Tip 1-1 |
Use BEGIN with a file number to specify the database(s) to be searched. |
From the Dialog Command Search page, I type in the
BEGIN command followed by the database number for
File 226, TRADEMARKSCAN®—U.S. Federal,
in the command text box. I click
or
press the Enter key on the keyboard to start my search.

The screen that appears indicates that we are searching File 226. I now enter My next command in the command text box at the bottom of the screen.

Go to the next page.
