Monitoring Company News
After looking at the descriptions of the databases, I've decided to use Business & Industry Database (File 9) to take advantage of some of their indexing and their worldwide coverage for the search on Burger King.
First, let's see what Burger King is doing to stay competitive in the fast-food industry against competition like McDonald's. Their tactics might include expansion in the U.S., marketing campaigns, and new markets outside the U.S.

When the Command Search main page appears, I will enter by BEGIN command: BEGIN 9 in the command text box, and click the
button.

Next, I enter my SELECT command in the command text box as follows and click the SUBMIT button.
I have restricted my search on BURGER KING to the company name field using /CO and limited retrieval to the year 1999. I can also take advantage of the indexing in File 9 by using the descriptor term: number outlets. Tip 2-1

The search history screen shows us that there are 29 records with this search strategy.
