Exercise 1:
Use DIALINDEX to select a category to browse for appropriate databases containing trade journals on the topic of interactive video games, specifically Playstation2.
Log on to DialogWeb and perform the requested searches using ONTAP DIALINDEX (File 290) called Databases in DialogWeb. Remember, you will need to logon using the practice (ONTAP) user id and password provided in order to search at no cost.
After logging on, click Databases on the Welcome screen to get started.
- Which category from the eight main ones would you choose to select information on coral used for eye implants?
- Which subcategory would you select for this topic from the categories listed?
- What search terms would you use to search for coral use for eye implants?
- Look at the description of the MEDLINE database (File 155) by clicking the title of the database.
