Key Drug Pipeline Databases on Dialog
Course Description
This free, self-paced course is designed to help you better understand the content of the Dialog drug pipeline files. It will provide you with an overview of the major drug pipeline databases:
- IMS R&D Focus (File (445/955)
- Pharmaprojects (File 128/928)
- Adis R&D Insight (File 107/907)
- Prous Databases (Files 452, 453, 458, 459)
Each lesson focuses on one pipeline database. Covered in each lesson are highlights of the database, advantages to using it, detailed remarks about each section of the Dialog record, and a "quiz."
The lessons and the wrap-up for the course are designed to be completed in order. However, you do not need to complete the course at one sitting.
Plan on spending approximately 30-45 minutes for each lesson, or about 3-4 hours to complete the entire course. Each lesson contains an exercise for you to complete.
