Basic Index Searching (continued)

We have already searched the topic of using coral for bone implants. Now let's use the EMBASE database, File 72, for Brian's next search. This database has a major focus on drug research so it should work for this search.

To search for the marine sponge and its use in treating cancer, I will make sure that File 72 EMBASE appears in the database box shown below, and I will enter my search terms in the Command Search text box, restricting my cancer terms to the descriptor field using the suffix /de:

s marine(w)sponge? and (cancer? or carcinoma?)/de

If search term(s) appear in the descriptor field (de), it usually means that the article will focus on that subject.
