Visto Announces the Appointment of Bill Keever to its Advisory Board
Former Vodafone Asia CEO brings industry experience to mobile email company
Redwood Shores, USA, November 21, 2006 - Visto, the leading provider of secure and easy-to-use mobile email, today announced that William L Keever, a former CEO of Vodafone Asia with 40 years’ experience in the telecom industry, has joined its advisory board.
In his new role, Keever will draw on his understanding of carrier service initiatives, together with his success in growing subscriber bases, to provide strategic input to Visto as it continues to make advances in the mobile email market. A former chief executive officer of Vodafone Asia, and president of Vodafone Americas, Keever was also president of Airtouch International, and before that held senior management positions at Pacific Bell and also Pac Tel Corp in Europe.

Last year, Keever was appointed to the Board of Directors of PalmSource, the company behind the Palm OS operating system for mobile devices and smartphones. He is also President of Keever Vineyards LLC, an independent producer of super premium Cabernet Sauvignon, which he and his family founded in 2003.
