Visto Corporation Receives Patent for Secure Remote Access to Corporate Data

(Redwood Shores, CA - April 28, 2004)– Visto Corporation (www.visto.com), the leading provider of personal and corporate mobile messaging solutions to wireless operators for the broadest set of mobile device platforms, today announced that it has been issued a patent for a system and method for globally and securely accessing unified information in a computer network. This patent marks the ninth U.S. patent in Visto's portfolio.

The new patent, U.S. Patent No. 6,708,221, describes a mechanism for secure remote access to a corporation's data. Additional information on the patent is available at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office at www.uspto.gov .
