Search for a Letter String as a Suffix in a Trademark?
TOPIC: You may want to uncover trademarks where a part or a whole word sound alike. In this case you can use the rotated index (TR=) but restrict the search to finding all whole words or suffixes that contain a particular string of letters. In this example you will look for marks where the mark is "mycin" or one that contains the suffix "mycin."
You can do this search in any trademark database; for this example you will use the U.S. trademark files: TRADEMARKSCAN—U.S. Federal (File 226) and TRADEMARKSCAN—U.S. State (File 246).
