Find an Exact U.S. Trademark?

TOPIC: To find information about a specific mark, or as the first step in a likelihood of confusion search, you can use the exact trademark. If the exact mark is already taken, it may not be necessary to spend additional resources on further searching.

To use the exact trademark, you must know exactly how the mark appears. Use the exact trademark if you don't have a registration or serial number. In this example, you will perform a lookup search for the U.S. trademark "Rx Success," a trademark for pharmacy technician training materials.

TRADEMARKSCAN—U.S. Federal
(File 226) covers all active, registered trademarks and service marks and applications for registrations filed for marks used or intended to be used on every type of product or service that is marketed commercially in the U.S.
