Locate A Complete Patent Family in INPADOC/Patent
Families & Legal Status?
TOPIC: In this example, you want to obtain the complete patent family for U.S. patent 5038578 and information on U.S. family members from INPADOC (File 345) In INPADOC all family members that resulted from the same original application (priority application) are contained in one record.
INPADOC contains family information on 70 countries and legal status for 22 countries. Record links can be used to select the patent family table and individual country data of a family member. The MAP command can also be used to retrieve all the patent documents that share the same priority application.

by Specific Fields. |

4. Check Patent Family and U.S. country information from the Choose Fields window and click OK. |

5. The Patent Family Table displays first followed by detailed country information for the country you selected. |
