Find a Particular Author and What She/He Has Written?
TOPIC: Names can be entered into databases in different forms, even in the same database. The EXPAND command lets you view the database index to see how names are entered. Often you will need to EXPAND several times, especially with Asian names as they may be entered Last Name First or First Name First as in the following example.
In this example we are looking for publications by the author Wooi Gan Yeoh. We'll use Inspec® (File 4), which contains the latest years of coverage of scientific and technical literature.

2. EXPAND using the prefix for author (AU=) and the author's complete name.
Notice there are two separate entries because one entry has a hyphen.
