Find Biographical Information on a Director or Officer Using Journal Sources?

TOPIC: Several databases on Dialog are good sources of biographical information on the directors or officers of companies. Some databases provide only basic biographical data, while others may include extensive biographical articles on specific individuals.

Biographical information about an officer or director of a large or well-known company may appear in a business article. Several files that cover business literature include a Name field, as well as additional fields that can be used to locate articles with biographical information. Some databases that contain biographical information include: ABI INFORM® (File 15), Gale Group Magazine Database™ (File 47), Gale Group Management Contents® (File 75), Gale Group Trade & Industry Database™ (File 148), Newspapers Abstracts Daily (File 483), and Periodical Abstracts PlusText™ (File 484).

Between the two, you'll get a good experience. We're selling tens of thousands of BlackBerry devices, which are all Edge phones, and they perform well. We've tested this nine ways to Sunday, and we think the experience will be great. Jobs: The iPhone switches to any known Wi-Fi network when it senses one. What we've found is that Edge is terrific for e-mail and basic Internet usage. When people need more speed, there's Wi-Fi. People are in areas with Wi-Fi much more than they think. I walk into work with the iPhone, and it instantly switches to a Wi-Fi network. If I'm walking down the street in downtown Palo Alto, the iPhone will switch from Edge to Wi-Fi. It's very fluid.
