Dialog Classic Frequently Asked Questions How do I print with DialogClassic on the Web? Users of Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) version 4.x will be unable to save results from the browser window using the Save As feature from the file menu. This is caused by MSIE's inability to save the contents of a frame. DialogClassic uses frames to separate the command line from the output. Workaround: After you have typed out your records, click the right mouse button and choose select all, click on the right mouse button a second time and choose copy. Open your word processor or Notepad and click on the right mouse button and choose paste. Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 has a similar problem saving the contents of a frame. Workaround: MSIE 3.02 will only save the contents of a frame if the contents have been highlighted prior to saving the file. To do this click the mouse at the beginning of the record(s) you want to save. Holding the mouse button down, drag the mouse over the desired records. Next select File, Save As and choose a file name and file type. The copy and paste procedure stated above also works. |
