Tips When Creating Customized Dialog Alerts

  • The Alert run/delivery time in a custom scheduled Alert should be set based on the time zone of the password associated with the saved Alert. For example, an Alert, set up by a customer based in North Carolina, USA, is scheduled to run every Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time to be delivered to a client in London. The Alert will run at 6:00 a.m. in North Carolina which is 11:00 a.m. Greenwich Time in London. In order for the Alert to be delivered at 6:00 a.m. in London, it will have to be set to run at 1:00 a.m. Eastern time.

  • If Alert output exceeds the system limit of approximately 3MB, you will receive an email with a link. It is necessary to click on this link to retrieve the desired Alert output.
