The recent addition of 40,000 articles from OxResearch Daily Briefing Service by Oxford Analytica and a
new set of Country Profiles is just one example of our pursuit of authoritative and reliable intelligence.
The briefs provide daily updates on developments of major significance in the world. The Country
Profiles provide summary overviews for 75 countries, including graphics, maps, data and charts, and they
are written by leading authorities and come from the Oxford Analytica worldwide scholar expert network.
The daily briefs and the Country Profiles have a 90-day embargo for full text, but abstracts are available
in the interim.
Dissertations and working papers provide insight into tomorrow's research
ABI/INFORM has added over 5,000 dissertations so far through 2009 bringing the total dissertations to
over 29,000. Along with significant growth to dissertations, we have also added to our collection of more
than 15,000 working papers from SSRN (Social Science Research Network). Working Papers provide
insight into the research of tomorrow, by collecting and indexing scholarly work-in-progress before it is
published.
ProQuest/Dialog innovation expands your Harvard Business Review® collection
to full text with images
ProQuest and Dialog work hand-in-hand, dynamically integrating your access
to high-value business-management content. With the launch of Harvard Business
Review® Full Text with Images on Dialog, we
have built a bridge between ProQuest Harvard Business Review abstracts and
indexing to the full-text
articles on Dialog. Researchers can now link seamlessly from abstracts they
find in Harvard Business
Review to the full text on Dialog. A subscription to the full text content
on Dialog gives corporate
searchers link icons that resolve to the full text from ProQuest databases
such as ABI/INFORM Global
and Complete, ProQuest Central, ProQuest Banking Information Source and ProQuest
Health
Management.
With your subscription to the full-text collection on Dialog, you gain entry
to every reprint from the Harvard
Business Review® from 2005 forward, including one Case Study per issue. Images,
including charts,
graphs and photos, are provided for many records. Prior to 2005, you can search
for the full text using
Dialog's File 106. File 106 offers every reprint from the Harvard Business
Review® from 1994 forward,
plus select articles from November-December 1956 to 1994.
Contact your Dialog account manager for information on subscribing to the Harvard
Business Review®
Full Text with Images (File 106 on Dialog), or call 1-800-334-2564 or request
information.
ABI/INFORM® 's new browse tab makes key content easier to find
ABI/INFORM, long recognized as one of the most comprehensive sources of business
information
available, has a new browse tab that helps users zero in on highly sought journal
and non-journal content,
such as market research reports and articles, industry trends and forecasts,
market share data, corporate
profiles, dissertations and working papers and SWOT analyses.
The browse page provides links to specific featured content, such as Business
Monitor International (BMI)
Industry Reports and Just-Series Market Research Reports. Click on the link
and choose the industry or
title you seek. Other links, such as Market Research Articles, initiate a search,
which you can narrow
using Smart Search® topics or qualify to a type of publication, such as trade
publications.
Tracking competitors' R&D? Take advantage of ProQuest's
vast science and technology
collections
Business research involves so much more than companies, industries and economics.
Most businesses
need to stay up-to-date on research, development and innovation to jump ahead
of the market. Consider
ProQuest's
science and technology collections. ProQuest's Illumina
and Illustrata collections from
Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA) help your scientists to focus discovery
and understand the
technology behind their inventions. Our CSA discipline-oriented databases have
recently evolved to
feature deep-indexing enhancements and access to full-text resources. Imagine
what your scientists can
do given the ability to search for data in tables, charts and graphics. ProQuest's
CSA Illumina platform
provides this capability.
And, speaking of innovation, check out the Discovery
Guides from CSA, including
Plugging Into the
Future: Smart Grids.
Dialog/DataStar and ProQuest bring you the full spectrum of strategic commercial
wisdom
Precision searching in broad A&I literature on Dialog/DataStar and the
ability to readily locate the full text
of these items via Professional ABI/INFORM Complete is a powerful combination.
ABI/INFORM
Complete contains more than 4,000 titles and the fulltext of 2,700 of those
titles. The content is the most
comprehensive combination of business and economics information including business
conditions,
market trends, competitive product information, corporate strategies and tactics,
management practice
and theory, technology and human resources.
In addition to admission to millions of much-coveted full-text articles from
thousands of scholarly journals,
ABI Complete also provides access to global newspapers, full-text dissertations
in the area of business,
market reports, business case studies, statistics, conference proceedings and
more. Dialog and ABI
Complete complement each other in their sources. For instance, Dialog has the
fulltext of EIU databases,
such as EIU: Business Newsletters, EIU: Country Research and EIU: Market Research,
as well as other
full-text titles like Newsweek and The Economist. Together, the collection
cannot be matched.
