Both Dialog File 183 and DataStar PHRJ are updated daily while the printed version of RAJ – Pharma is updated monthly and RAJ – Devices is updated bimonthly. Refer to the Bluesheet or Datasheet for further information and search tips. MEDLINE Reloaded on Dialog and DataStar
MEDLINE is reloaded every year because the National Library of Medicine (NLM) re-indexes relevant documents from the whole database with changed medical terms. For 2006, 993 new Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) were added, 188 headings were replaced with more up-to-date terminology and 50 headings were deleted. Specific details on the changes can be found on the NLM Web site, the Dialog Bluesheet, or for DataStar consult BASE (BASE-MEDL) and print the chapter entitled MEDLINE RELOAD 2006 for a complete list of changes. New Titles Increase BIOSIS' International Flavor
This new group of titles encompasses a wide range of life sciences areas, including systematics and taxonomy, biochemistry, ecology, agriculture, bioprocess engineering, pharmacology and computational biology. Sample titles from Asia and Europe include Environmental Health and Preventive Medicine and Journal of Agricultural Science Tokyo Nogyo Daigaku (Japan); Revista Brasileira de Parasitologia Veterinaria and Ciencia Rural (Brazil); Biosystems Engineering (Netherlands); Microbial Cell Factories and Photochemical and Photobiological Sciences (United Kingdom); Applied Biochemistry and Microbiology (Russia), and Fruits (Les Ulis) and Jiepou Xuebao (Chinese Society of Anatomical Sciences).
