The EDIT command opens windows that allow you to create and edit Save Searches, Temporary Searches, Alert strategies, and addresses for offline print and DIALORDER deliveries. The EDIT command can be used in any database. To create a new SearchSave BEGIN a file such as the free file Dialog Community-of-Interest Newsletters (File 410). Create a search strategy and enter SAVE or SAVE TEMP followed by a name with up to 30 characters. A box appears with the name you created and the search sets. Review the strategy and make any changes you wish. Then click SAVE or CANCEL to store or exit the SearchSave. Once you have stored the strategy as a SearchSave you can EXECUTE it in any database except DIALINDEX®. • To create a Temporary SearchSave ?begin 410

Temp SearchSave "BOOKS" stored To edit an existing SearchSave, Temporary Search, or Alert enter EDIT, EDIT SAVE, or EDIT TEMP followed by the name.
