Mr. Jarvis is a founding member of Cedar Grove Partners, LLC, a private equity investment firm with a focus on wireless communications. Prior to forming Cedar Grove, Mr. Jarvis served as a senior executive of Eagle River, Inc., Craig McCaw’s investment firm.
While at Eagle River he founded Nextlink Communications on behalf of Mr. McCaw and served as the first president. He also served as a regional president for Nextel Communications.
From 1985 to 1994 Scot served in several executive capacities at McCaw Cellular Communications up until it was sold to AT&T. He has served on several boards of both private and public companies including Wireless Facilities, Inc, Nextel Communications, Nextlink Communications and Leap Wireless. He currently sits on the boards of Wireless Facilities, Sky Pipeline, Wavelink, Slingshot, Ultratouch, and Visto. He was recently named a Venture Partner to Oak Investment Partners.
Scot has a BA from the University of Washington in Business Administration.
