Lionel Wolovitz

Dr. Wolovitz joined Visto in February 2004 following the company's acquisition of the Psion Software division of Psion PLC. Lionel was head of Marketing for Psion Software which he co-founded and grew to become a leading provider of mobile email solutions on Symbian OS phones.

Lionel has sixteen years experience of hi-tech product development and marketing. Prior to Psion Software, Lionel was Chief Technology Officer of Psion Dacom plc, where he helped lead the company to become the largest manufacturer of PC Card modems in Europe and a worldwide supplier to leading PC OEM's such as Dell Computer, IBM and Toshiba. In this role Lionel was responsible for the development of the award winning Gold Card PC Card range of communications products.

Lionel holds a BSc in electronic engineering from the University of Cape Town, a MSc in electronic engineering from the University of Hull and a PhD from the University of Glasgow.
