Igor Makarenko

VP IT & Operations and CISO

Mr. Makarenko brings to Visto over 25 years experience managing large-scale IT infrastructures, with a focus on messaging systems, security program management, network monitoring and system integration. In his role at Visto, Igor is responsible for managing, maintaining and securing the company’s IT systems and the Network Operating Center (NOC), a highly scalable and secure platform that supports millions of subscribers. Prior to Visto, Igor was at TAB Products Co., where he architected the corporate network and provided nationwide technical support to corporate users.

Igor also held various management positions at Natural Wonders, Inc., TEC America Electronics Inc. and IBM Russia where he was managing customer service organization to provide technical support to nationwide IBM customers. Igor holds a BS degree in Telecommunications from the Russian State University of Oil and Gas in Moscow. He also hold CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification.
