H. Andre Thomas

H. Andre Thomas is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wireless Ingenuity, LLc, a Venture Capital Development firm based in Bellevue, Washington founded in 2002. The company is a leading wireless innovation partner with mobile carriers in Europe, the Americas and Asia reaching over 400 million mobile subscribers. The company has represented over 20 venture backed wireless innovation companies resulting in the commercial deployment of new wireless services and applications including wireless push email, OTA Device Management, Instant Messaging and Presence and Mobile Enterprise Applications.

Mr. Thomas has been in the Wireless industry since 1991 and has served in a number of Senior Executive roles with Vodafone Group, PLc and AirTouch Communications. Prior to founding Wireless Ingenuity in 2002, Mr. Thomas served as Vodafone Group Planning Director and Financial Director of Vodafone Group Services Ltd. He is the founding Managing Director of Vodafone Ventures. He had also served in a number of roles at AirTouch Communications, including Director of Corporate Development, Domestic Mergers & Acquisitions, Director of International Strategy, Development and Operations, Chief of Staff to the President and Chief Operating Officer, and Regional General Manager of AirTouch Paging.

Mr. Thomas has participated in several significant milestones in the development of the global Wireless industry including the IPO of AirTouch Communications, the acquisitions of US West New Vector Group, Cellular Communications, Inc., the formation of the Bell Atlantic/AirTouch JV and PCS Primeco, the launch of Globalstar, the launch of Vodafone Group’s Wireless Data Strategy and the acquisition of Mannesmann AG.

Prior to joining the Wireless Industry, Mr. Thomas worked for 7 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in a number of roles in Corporate Finance Mergers & Acquisitions in Denver, San Francisco and New York.

He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Accounting from the University of Denver.
