Buff Jones

As executive vice president and general manager of Macrovision's products, Ms. Jones is responsible for the office of the CTO, development and support for all Macrovision products.

Buff is a software industry veteran with twenty years of senior management, product strategy and business integration experience. Before Macrovision, Buff served at IBM as vice president, responsible for IBM WebSphere's worldwide business integration development and OEM enablement. Prior to IBM, as senior vice president of products at CrossWorlds Software, Buff was instrumental in the integration of CrossWorlds after its acquisition by IBM in 2002.

Before CrossWorlds, Buff held executive roles at Merant including senior vice president and general manager of Merant's PVCS business unit and senior vice president of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Merant, Buff served in several senior management roles at Compuware Corporation where she lead the client server systems management team and the North American sales, services and product management teams.

Buff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA in Information Systems and Business Communications from the University of Southern California.
