Kyocera Wireless and Visto collaborate on joint marketing activities and selling to large enterprises - including marketing Visto Mobile Enterprise Server offered with with Kyocera Wireless smartphone 7135

Microsoft and Visto have partnered to promote and market Visto Mobile Personal Edition mobile email/PIM solution jointly to mobile operators. Visto Mobile Personal Edition is a flexible set of custom-branded applications and services that let mobile operators provide subscribers with real-time, secure, remote access to their corporate and personal email, PIM and files directly from their mobile devices. With Visto Mobile Personal Edition mobile operators can address a broad range of market segments that include individual subscribers, SOHO (Small Office, Home Office), and mobile professionals working for medium and large enterprises. It can be integrated with the mobile operator's networks so that operators can effectively manage billing, user-provisioning and customer support.

Visto has a software distribution agreement with Motorola Personal Communications Sector (PCS) to offer Visto’s MessageXpress solution for Motorola’s devices with J2ME technology, starting with models T720, A388 and A830.

Nokia and Visto have collaborated to bring mobile email to all Nokia's market-leading hanset devices. Visto mobile email is available on several Nokia handsets from the 7610, 6260, 6670 or the 3230 to the Nokia 9500 Communicator or Nokia 9300. PalmSource and Visto are working together to build a standard enterprise-grade wireless email client for the Palm OS platform. PalmSource and Visto will co-market the new default messaging solution to Palm OS licensees and their wireless operators, resulting in easier integration with existing IT infrastructures. The new email client for the Palm OS platform will provide secure, reliable push-email capabilities between Palm Powered™ mobile devices and enterprise-grade mail servers such as Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino, as well as access to POP3/IMAP mail servers, allowing enterprise users to stay connected to data while away from the office. The new email client will become the default messaging solution for the Palm OS platform.

Visto has a distribution agreement with Sony Electronics to make Visto solutions available to corporate users of Sony’s line of CLIÉ™ wireless-enabled handheld devices. As part of the agreement, Sony will include Visto’s wireless email application for the CLIÉ handheld in the box providing buyers of the device a quick and easy way to connect to their office email. Visto will give Sony customers a 30-day free trial to its MessageXpress service, providing access to Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes and personal (internet) email on the CLIÉ handheld via their wireless services.

Sony Ericsson and Visto are working together to bring true push email on the latest market-leading handsets. The combination of the P900/P910 with Visto Mobile provides a robust, secure, push email/PIM solution that runs on POP3, Microsoft Outlook/Exchange, and IBM Lotus Notes/Domino servers, and serves consumers, small enterprises and large corporations. Visto Mobile is integrated with the P900 and P910 to give mobile professionals the same user experience they have come to expect from their Sony Ericsson devices. Additionally, Visto and Sony Ericsson work with the mobile operator to ensure mobile users get everything they need in one solution: mobile service, a market-leading handset and true push email, contacts and calendars.

Visto and Symbian have partnered to provide both enterprises and individual users with wireless email access on their Symbian OS devices. Enterprises use Visto Mobile Enterprise Server for secure access to corporate Microsoft Exchange or IBM Lotus Domino data behind the firewall. Wireless network operators around the globe offer Visto Mobile Personal Edition to individuals who would like to access corporate and POP3 email from their mobile device.
